WAYWO - A Little Housekeeping

Sun Apr 27, 2008 at 03:30:15 PM PDT

We've been enjoying our weekly WAYWO chats for a while now. Well, except when my real life intervenes (or my increasingly spongy brain forgets) and I don't post it like I should. Therefore, I'd like to open WAYWO to a rotating schedule of hosts.

I've made a Gmail calendar for the rotating hosts' reference. Please message me through the Yahoo! WAYWO Group if you'd like to host. If you are not already a member (and you want to host) you must join to send messages.

Now, housekeeping done for the time being ... Let's talk about what we're working on!

This past week, I started temping at the university, and there is, as they say, a lot of "downtime". To keep myself from falling asleep and drooling on the desk, I've brought my knitting every day. I also get to do much web surfing, too, but the knitting is much more productive. :)

Before I started the assignment, I made a pair of fingerless gloves for my sister. They are called Fetching and they are cute! Here is the photo of the completed gloves.

Since I completed hers, I've made another pair for myself, and am working on a third pair. They may be a Christmas present for someone ... who knows?

I'm also working on a crocheted afghan for my 6 year old niece - it's very pink. She'll love it, I hear - it's granny squares in pink acrylic yarn, alternating with novelty yarns. So far, I've done about five squares. I'll post pics when I have more to show.

So, what are YOU working on?
