WAYWO - Sunny Sunday 2/17/08

Yup, it's a sunny Sunday afternoon in Tucson. I'm thinking how much I will miss the mild winters here, since we'll be leaving Tucson for Delaware on the 29th of this month.

Even though I have tons of packing left to do, and plenty of purging, too, I have still managed to get in some knitting time.

I made a cute little Feather & Fan facecloth for my mom:

Here it is in process - I think this picture shows the detail a little bit better, and the color is more true, too.

I also made a facecloth with a sun design on it, but haven't got a good picture of that one. There's a cabled hat in process, but I'm still on the ribbing, so that's not exciting to show yet. I'm practicing my lace knitting on yet another facecloth, this one in a Shetland lace called "Fern Lace". For some reason, I keep miscounting on this one, so I am getting annoyed with it.

The worst thing is that I have to pack away my stash! Waaah!! I like to have it all close at hand, so I can pet it at will. Well, when Pumpkin isn't trying to steal it, that is.
