"oh, is it because he's talking about that bad President?" (When the news is on, my son always wants to know if "Rock Obama" is winning. He also knows Hillary Clinton and John McCain from the newscasts. But to him, Bush is just "the bad President".)

my 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter both also talk about "Rock Obama" and know that we don't like the bad president - funny how similar. they also went on a streak recently where they would yell out "Go Obama!" after hamming it up for the camcorder singing a song or some silly thing - to their grandparents dismay. just trying to raise them the right way...

My 5-year old wants to know why George Bush does such bad things and can't wait until November when we get to "boot him out of office"

would have pretty good political discussions. My son refers to him as "Brock Obama" but the best misnomer is "John Headwards". Heehee. He told his teacher that Barack will make the world a better place and that Republicans care about money, not people. You can never teach them too young!
