The commercial media's attack on Obama has tightened the race in North Carolina.
We must redouble our efforts to get out the vote and end the outrageous guilt-by-association attacks on Obama for once and for all.
Obama has responded brilliantly to every attack and every turn of events. Now it's our turn GOTV.

We might have hit a sort of high water mark with the fake scandal. They over reached to grotesque levels on that one and some people do have a sense of it. It's not like we haven't seen the 'politics of personal destruction,' as Bill Clinton put it. There could be some backlash where people are just sick of it because they know a media lynching when they see it.
This weekend is huge. There is a very real chance to end this thing clean and clear right now at the beginning of May. It would be absolute gold for the Democrats to have the whole of the summer with this dynamite nominee building support across the country. That's what Indiana and North Carolina need to recognize. It's a huge opportunity if what you want is a Democratic president.
McCain is not getting my state. Is he getting yours?

Sad, that it'll now cost previously un-ID'd voters to be able to vote in upcoming elections, but it sure seems like we'll need to get people IDs ~and~ get them registered to vote.

that you can get a photo ID for free from the BMV. We need to encourage people to go there and get one if they don't have one of the other acceptable government issued forms.
You probably need to take a hundred different items to the BMV to get your ID, just like a DL. I finally got mine recently after living in the state for over a year. It took me three tries over several months to finally get the right combination of ID.
