I swear, it sounds like you want to win elections and actually do stuff in government to help people. What the hell? I've got like two hundred cardboard signs painted up for marching around with and being righteously angry about how terrible everything is going. What am I going to blog about if we have a popular president with a mandate and a majority in Congress? Things aren't getting better fast enough? Shit, talk about boring.
I just hope Nader runs again so we can keep hammering Obama from the left during the general election like we did to Gore. Hell, now we use Gore to hammer Obama from the left. Whatever works right?
McCain is not getting my state. Is he getting yours?

Regardless of what happens nationally, we'll still need a few cardboard signs down here in good ol' Tejas.
For a while anyway---until we turn the state to purple :)

and the purposeful, deceitful and dishonest slamming of Obama by the Blogoboys----they're afraid! They're afraid there won't be as much to angrily blog about with Obama leading this progressive movement for change. Their importance will dwindle. Thanks for lighting the bulb.

I did dozens of protests with just my "No Racism"(one side) and "No Imperialism"(on the other). Then I had to make one about whales ... but that's it!
Obama, don't take my advice. I'm just an anonymous blogger on the 'nets.

... without asking for one.
And you can't enact progressive policies without understanding the institutions that prevent them from being enacted.
I don't hear the ask for the mandate, and I don't see the understanding of the institutions. I do hear vacuous messages about unity, with no hard evidentiary base (though, granted, by tomorrow, we'll have more infomration).
Even if Obama's shifting his rhetoric in this video, its felt to me for the past week like "unity" is for everybody but progressives, and forgive me for feeling a bit sourt.
That said, I just recommended you for at least not hurling abuse, and clever use of irony!
